“Cladding”

Turner has a deep appreciation for natural materials, particularly the texture that natural stone and marble could bring to his work, which he found truly breathtaking. His goal was to recreate this texture through the clever use of shape and color in this piece. Upon completing the piece, Turner was struck by how much it resembled stone cladding, commonly seen on the exteriors of homes. This realization further underscored his passion for architecture and interior design, as these themes are consistently founding their way back into his artwork.
